We’ve just returned from a fabulous few days in the beautiful town of Harrogate for The Home & Gift Fayre. We were delighted to meet up with the team from Riana Jewellery. You must check out the Riana rings – they are to die for! Every time I wear them, I sell them!
Many thanks to Vinard (MD Riana) for a beautiful meal at Loch Fyne and far too many bottles of wine! If you’ve not been to Loch Fyne – you should go. Great food!
We have met some great people at the show and stayed at the very grand Wood Hall Spa. Shame we were too late and a little inebriated (!) to use the facilities! (I blame Vinard) Breakfast was fantastic though…would thoroughly recommend it.
It’s a tough job…but someone has to do it!

The Town Hall in Sutton was a fun night with a fashion show and champagne flowing all night. There were some great displays of makeup, bags, clothes and of course moda jewellery took a stand. We even had a guest appearance from Elvis. Well ok, he’s our good friend Kevin Paul.
Kevin does a great tribute to Elvis. We’ve seen him many times. He performs at clubs and restaurants and is on at Pier 39 Restaurant in Sutton Coldfield. For his concert dates contact Jackie atkevinpaulbookings@hotmail.co.uk

moda will be taking a table at Shirley Golf Club on November 27th where he is performing and there’s a disco afterwards. Four course meal is included. We’ve been before and it was an amazing evening.

The Bond comprises a unique group of Victorian buildings fronting onto the Grand Union Canal in the Warwick Bar Conservation Area. The Centerpiece of the complex is The Ice House, an outstanding 19th Century warehouse. This local landmark dominates the site with its fine cobbled entrance court surrounded by original canal buildings.
What a fantastic place to work
The site was originally a nail making factory. It now hosts a variety of businesses appropriate to the changing nature of today’s economy.

The Limes fashion show was a huge success on Thursday evening. For those that missed it, you MUST make the next one. I bought a Jane Norman top for a fiver and a Claudia top for £6! Bargains galore. Yes I know I was meant to be selling jewellery and not buying (Funnily enough that’s what Mike said too!)
We have had lots of great feedback from our customers, that all mangaged to bag a few bargains on the evening and also bought beautiful costume jewellery to match.
If anyone hasn’t been to The Lime Country Lodge, you should check it out. Contemporary, modern design in beautiful countryside setting. The couple that own and run it are great fun. You can hold meetings there, parties and weddings. The Limes is set in rural Earlswood yet is located less than half a mile from junction 3 of the M42. Ideally placed for access to the NEC, motorway networks and Birmingham airport. Check out their website:

After a great party on Friday night, we loaded the van and Karen left the keys in the boot. Julie then shuts the boot and ….yes…..we were locked out!
(So I blamed Karen. She blamed me!)
So we were going nowhere! Many thanks to Leane and her family and friends for making us so welcome and feeding us.
The spare keys arrived and hour or so later. Thanks Mike! Apart from getting locked out, we had a great party. Everyone bought some beautiful jewellery and watches and made some fabulous Pandora Style bracelets. They like their bling in Bloxwich!
We look forward to seeing you all at the next moda jewellery party, where Karen will not be allowed to touch my keys! You just can’t get the staff…
At every event we have held this week Michael Jackson’s music has being played in the background continually. I never realized how many songs he did. Really sad news. Did anyone see the breakfast news this morning? They played his rehearsal for his forthcoming tour. It was filmed just 2 days before he died. ….It just goes to show what I’ve always said. Live life while you can! …..moda jewellery are off to Burntwood tonight to party!
