Unaware the economic downturn was just about to take hold, Julie and Mike set up moda jewellery.

The Hollywood-based couple started off by holding jewellery parties at people’s homes where they showcased and offered hosts 10 per cent in free jewellery.

While this remains a valuable source of custom, moda jewellery has now grown and grown and moved online and into the wedding, gifts and corporate events markets.
